Job Description
TEL is actively engaged in leading edge technology development at imec. We have an opening in our Etch Business Unit to enable research and development on next generation test structures in imec’s world class 300mm fab.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with international team to define, execute, analyse, and report on test structure evaluations for etch development.
- Development of new or modification of lithography processes, including metrology setup and process window characterization.
- Execute experiments using imec’s 300mm fab using hands-on wafer processing as well as manufacturing execution system (MES)
- Compile and analyze test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications.
- Collaborate with other groups, local and factory, along with other functional areas, to recommend and prepare changes, additions, and modifications, which will facilitate learning.
- Report out results with clear discussion and feedback for further experimentation
Qualifications/Requirements
- BS degree in Material Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related semi-conductor manufacturing field. MS or PhD preferred.
- Strong skills in data analysis and project management techniques.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills in English is essential
- Willingness and Capability to work both independently, and as part of a team
- Excellent customer focus (both internal & external customers)
- An ability to effectively manage projects within required timelines
- Willingness to do international business travel as well as training to but not limited to Japan and the US when required.
Relocation costs (if applicable) in line with TEL’s policy would be provided.
Individual pay is determined based on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skills, job-related knowledge, relevant education, certifications, and/or training. In addition to base salary, we offer (full time regular employees ) a comprehensive benefits package and for certain roles eligibility in our bonus plan and long-term incentives as applicable.
