We're a novel semiconductor company that's made a name for ourselves by designing and developing best-in-class solutions for our global clients. Our client is expanding its compound semiconductor FAB and needs a hands-on Process Engineer to own Plasma Dry Etch development from experiment design through production release - a high-visibility role at the intersection of process innovation and manufacturing excellence. What You Need for this Position- Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a related field (Master's is a plus)- 1+ years of hands-on semiconductor process engineering experience, with direct experience on plasma dry etch equipment (will also consider top candidates coming out of academia) - Working knowledge of compound semiconductor processing (GaAs, InP, GaN, or similar) - Experience with SPC, DOE, and FMEA methodologies in a manufacturing environment
Nice to have - Hands-on experience with Oxford Instruments or LAM Research etch platforms - Familiarity with gas-phase etching chemistry and wet-clean processes around the etch step - Experience writing and releasing formal process procedures or work instructions in a regulated FAB environment What You Will Be Doing- Primary focus: Plasma Dry Etch
- Drive process development & optimization for Plasma Dry Etch, serving as the primary technical owner for etch tools and related metrology equipment - Design and execute DOEs, analyze results, and translate findings into released process procedures and work instructions- Conduct FMEAs to identify risk, define mitigation plans, and lead corrective actions through to closure - Monitor process health using SPC and GR&R studies; escalate and resolve tool or process excursions in production - Authorize tool and process releases to production; certify and train operators to perform qualified processes - Collaborate with Integration Engineers on cross-functional process development projects, defining execution plans and tracking milestones - Partner with all FAB functional areas to continuously improve yield, cycle time, and process capability So, if you are a Process engineer with Plasma Dry Etch or related experience (even academic!), APPLY NOW!
