Salary: $250,000 – $290,000 + Super + Up to 20% Bonus

RobLawMax Recruitment is partnering with an established Australian gold mining operation to recruit an experienced Processing Manager to lead its processing operations.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, this is a senior leadership opportunity with responsibility for plant performance, metallurgical outcomes, cost management, safety and continuous improvement.

The Opportunity:

• Lead a multidisciplinary processing team, including metallurgy, operations and maintenance.
• Drive plant performance, production efficiency, recovery optimisation and cost improvements.
• Manage departmental budgets, operational planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing team while maintaining strong safety and environmental standards.

About You:

We're particularly interested in candidates with a strong technical and metallurgical background, rather than those who have progressed solely through operational management.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• Bachelor of Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in a Processing Manager position.
• Strong technical understanding of mineral processing and metallurgy, ideally within gold operations.
• Demonstrated leadership, financial management and continuous improvement experience.
