About the Role
This is a hands-on product engineering role at the core of a fast-growing AI infrastructure platform that turns the open web into clean, structured data for developers and AI agents. You will own features end to end, from idea through production, shipping developer-facing product that thousands of engineers rely on every day. The work is technically deep and directly visible: no ticket queues, no layers of process.
What You'll Do
Build and ship developer-facing features from concept to production, owning reliability and quality throughout.
Tackle hard, ambiguous problems and shape them into clean APIs that developers love to use.
Maintain and improve resilience against a constantly changing, adversarial web environment.
Collaborate directly with the engineering team on roadmap priorities and tradeoff decisions.
Read GitHub issues, dogfood the product, and let real developer pain guide what gets built next.
Work directly with customers to debug integrations and provide hands-on support while owning the product.
What We're Looking For
3 to 10+ years of engineering experience, with a track record of shipping developer-facing products (APIs, SDKs, or dev tools) that external users actually depend on.
Production-level depth in anti-bot/anti-detection techniques, browser automation (Playwright, Puppeteer, Chromium), or web agents shipped to external users, this is a hard requirement.
Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
Familiarity with the broader observability and tooling stack: Redis, Datadog, Sentry, OpenTelemetry, LLM APIs (e.g. Anthropic Claude).
Daily hands-on experience building with coding agents, with an understanding of how agents use tools and consume web data.
Comfortable owning features end to end without a dedicated PM or designer, ideally as an early engineer at a small startup.
A bias toward shipping, measuring, and iterating rather than perfecting on paper.
