Within Philips Avent Experience Innovation, we explore new product and experience directions that can make a meaningful difference for parents and babies. We work where consumer needs, design and technology come together. We are looking for a curious, hands-on product innovator with both a strong product perspective and technical curiosity. You do not need to be an expert in every discipline; we are looking for someone who learns quickly, asks sharp questions and enjoys making ideas tangible. Your role You will join a multidisciplinary team of designers, researchers, scientists and technologists. Your work may span new physical products, connected experiences and early technology explorations. You will: Explore new product and experience opportunities for parents and babies. Turn insights and ideas into product concepts, prototypes, mock-ups and visualisations. Work with designers and engineers to understand feasibility, product mechanisms, materials and user experience. Use a mix of sketching, CAD, physical prototyping and digital tools to make ideas tangible. Help create clear presentations and stories that support innovation decisions. Use AI-supported tools to create concept visualisations, animations or short videos where they help bring an idea to life. AI-supported video creation is part of the role, but not its sole focus. It is one of the tools you may use to make a new product or experience understandable and compelling. You are the right fit if You are studying Industrial Design, Integrated Product Design, Mechanical Engineering with a design affinity, Design Engineering, or a comparable programme. You are interested in both how products are experienced and how they work. You enjoy working on open-ended challenges and moving between thinking and making. You are curious, proactive and able to communicate your ideas clearly. You have experience with some relevant tools, such as sketching, CAD, prototyping, rendering, Adobe tools, Figma, video/animation tools or AI-supported creative tools. Please include a portfolio or examples that show how you think and make. This could be a product, prototype, technical exploration, system concept or other project that demonstrates your curiosity and problem-solving approach. What you can expect You will contribute to real innovation work for Philips Avent and collaborate with experienced professionals across design, research, science and technology. You will receive coaching throughout your internship and gain experience in how early ideas are translated into future products and experiences for parents and babies. If you are excited to combine product thinking, technical curiosity and creative prototyping, we would love to hear from you. Does this sound like you? Apply now and share your resume together with a portfolio, videos, animations or other self-made work that shows your creativity, technical curiosity and ability to make ideas tangible. Graduation: We prefer this to be a regular 6-month internship. A graduation assignment is possible, but only if it can be clearly connected to our innovation projects and leaves enough time to contribute broadly to other team activities.
