Project Manager – Maritime Ship Repair & Retrofit

As Project Manager, you will manage projects from inspection and preparation through execution and final handover, coordinating teams, resources, budgets, safety and client communication.

Tasks

• Arrange project inspections, estimates and budgets;
• Prepare and plan project activities;
• Coordinate personnel, logistics, finances and safety;
• Manage project resources and involved teams;
• Maintain communication with clients and stakeholders;
• Manage project documentation, approvals and reporting;
• Monitor HSE, planning and budgets;
• Ensure projects are delivered and handed over according to requirements.
  
  
  

Job requirements

To succeed in this maritime Project Manager position, you bring a combination of technical knowledge, leadership experience and practical understanding of ship repair, retrofit or related maritime operations.

• Technical or maritime education.
• At least 5 years of managerial or project management experience.
• Previous experience in a comparable position within the maritime sector.
• Experience with ship repair, vessel retrofit, conversion or related maritime projects is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership and make well-considered decisions.
