Job Description - Product Portfolio Manager, Enterprise AI (01024909) Job Description Product Portfolio Manager, Enterprise AI - 01024909 Description At Weyerhaeuser, we are leveraging AI to drive innovation and operational excellence across all aspects of our business. With over a century of leadership in sustainable forestry and real estate, we continue to push the boundaries of technology to optimize performance across timberlands, wood products, real estate, and corporate operations. As a key player in the forest products industry, you'll have the unique opportunity to define and lead a brand-new AI product portfolio spanning our corporate support functions - come grow with us! As Product Portfolio Manager, Enterprise AI, you will build and lead a new AI product portfolio focused on driving efficiency, cost reduction and productivity across Weyerhaeuser's corporate support functions - including IT service desk and support operations, procurement, finance, HR and legal-style processes. This is a new pillar within the AI product organization; you will own the portfolio's strategy end to end: defining the roadmap, building the business case, driving delivery and achieving aggressive targets for impact. Given the breadth of the mandate, this role calls for a seasoned product leader capable of managing a broad, cross-functional portfolio rather than a single line of business. Primary Responsibilities Strategic AI Roadmaps: Develop and execute a product strategy for AI-driven automation across corporate support functions, identifying where an agent-assisted or automated flow can reduce cost, improve response time, or free up capacity. Clearly articulate milestones, KPIs, and alignment with company objectives. Lifecycle Management: Lead the full AI lifecycle - from ideation, business case validation, and prioritization to implementation, scaling, ongoing measurement, and continuous improvement-leveraging Weyerhaeuser’s standardized AI Factory framework. Opportunity Identification: Conduct process and value-chain analysis across Support, Procurement, Finance, and Legal-style workflows to identify and prioritize automation opportunities, in partnership with the functional leaders who own each process today. Business Impact Measurement: Create comprehensive business cases, perform ROI and financial analyses, and meticulously track outcomes to verify the strategic and economic value delivered by AI initiatives. AI Governance: Ensure AI deployments adhere strictly to ethical standards, data privacy regulations, and internal governance frameworks, maintaining compliance and mitigating risk. Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage cross-functionally with business leaders, data scientists, and external technology partners to define and deliver targeted AI solutions. Change Leadership: Effectively manage organizational change, promoting AI literacy and fostering a proactive culture around AI through targeted training programs, clear communication, and stakeholder engagement initiatives. As the pillar grows, help define staffing needs and mentor junior product management talent added to the team Qualifications Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree are a plus. Experience: 7+ years of product management experience, including experience building a new product line or portfolio from the ground up, ideally spanning AI/ML-enabled products. Cross-Functional Range: Demonstrated ability to operate across multiple corporate functions (e.g., IT, Finance, Procurement, Legal, HR) and translate varied stakeholder needs into one coherent roadmap. Technical Fluency: Working knowledge of AI/ML product patterns and enterprise service-management or workflow platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, UiPath, etc) and how they relate to an AI automation layer. Analytical Expertise: Extensive experience with business case development, ROI assessment, and performance measurement for technology-driven projects. Executive Communication: Proven ability to build and present business cases to senior leadership and secure buy-in across functions that do not report to you. Change Leadership: Experience leading organizational change and driving adoption of new automated processes across non-technical business functions.
