Your tasks Execute all monthly payroll closing activities, including coordination with Finance, authorities, and external stakeholders, and prepare related reports, statements, and confirmations. Ensure accurate and compliant execution of automated payroll payments to employees, authorities, and third parties in accordance with internal controls. Manage the complete Außerbetriebliche Abrechnung process, including mBGM creation and ELDA file preparation and submission. Prepare, execute, and analyze complex payroll reports and create batch inputs to support accurate payroll processing, reconciliations, and decision-making. Identify payroll discrepancies, risks, and improvement opportunities to enhance operational and special payroll processes. Execute year-end payroll closing activities, manage payroll accruals, and coordinate reconciliations and reporting requirements with Finance and external parties. Support internal and external payroll audits by providing required documentation, explanations, and evidence within agreed timelines. Collaborate closely with Operational Payroll, Payroll Systems, Finance, Tax Advisors, authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure compliant payroll operations. Maintain and further develop payroll process documentation, work instructions, and control descriptions. Contribute to People & Culture and People Services projects, including transformation, digitalization, automation, and capability-building initiatives. Your profile Master’s degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, IT, Project Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent qualification). Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in payroll, payroll operations, monthly and year-end closing activities, Außerbetriebliche Abrechnung, and accruals. Payroll certification with strong knowledge of Austrian payroll, tax, social security legislation, and People & Culture policies. Experience with payroll and HR systems, including SAP S/4, SuccessFactors, and related payroll applications, as well as payroll data management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, high accuracy, attention to detail, confidentiality, and a structured working approach with a continuous improvement mindset. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, customer-focused and service-oriented attitude, fluency in German and English, and proficiency in MS Excel and standard office tools. The minimum gross annual salary according to the collective agreement amounts to EUR 66.304,-- . Depending on skills and specific experience, over-payment is possible.
