Our Client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion. The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, quality, subcontractors, and client relationships. Experience with Construction Management-at-Risk (CMAR) and Design-Build delivery methods is highly preferred. Location : Asheville, NC 28704 Job Type : Full-Time Compensation : $110,000 – $140,000 per year Key Responsibilities · Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through project completion. · Oversee project schedules, budgets, quality control, costs, and overall performance. · Manage multiple projects while ensuring timely and successful delivery. · Participate in preconstruction planning and project development activities. · Monitor project progress, identify risks and delays, and implement corrective actions. · Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, consultants, and field teams. · Lead project meetings with clients, stakeholders, and internal project teams. · Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, contractors, architects, engineers, and other project partners. · Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation. · Track project costs, change orders, schedules, and budget performance. · Prepare project reports, updates, schedules, and other required documentation. · Ensure compliance with quality, safety, contractual, and regulatory requirements. · Provide leadership and guidance throughout the construction lifecycle Minimum Requirements · 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects. · Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. · Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes, scheduling, budgeting, and project coordination. · Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts. · Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. · Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. · Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. · Experience working with subcontractors, vendors, clients, and project stakeholders Compensation & Benefits · $110,000 – $140,000 annual salary, based on experience and qualifications. · Performance-based bonus opportunities. · Car allowance or company vehicle. · Medical, dental, and vision insurance. · Short-term and long-term disability coverage. · Life insurance options. · 401(k) retirement plan with company match. · Paid vacation and holidays. · Vehicle allowance, fuel cards, and per diem when applicable. · Career advancement and professional development opportunities. · Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.
