PPS Water Group is seeking experienced Project Managers to join our growing project teams and play a key role in delivering major water infrastructure projects across Western Australia.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of major projects, lead high-performing teams and work alongside experienced industry professionals to deliver critical water infrastructure across the resources sector.

We offer flexible FIFO roster opportunities, with the roster determined by the requirements of the project. This provides flexibility across our project portfolio while ensuring the right people are matched to the right projects.

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our diverse project teams and take a leading role in the successful delivery of major water infrastructure projects.

At PPS, our Project Managers are empowered with the people, resources and support required to deliver successful outcomes. You'll take ownership from project commencement through to completion, providing strong leadership while driving safety, quality, commercial performance, client relationships and project delivery.

You will work closely with project teams, clients and key stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, commercially and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution of projects
  • Provide strong leadership and direction to project teams
  • Manage project contracts, budgets and commercial outcomes
  • Develop and implement effective project plans and strategies
  • Collate and present monthly financial reports
  • Identify, assess and manage project risks
  • Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
  • Monitor project performance, costs, quality and progress
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards and project requirements
  • Oversee project documentation, reporting and administration
  • Drive a strong safety culture across all project activities
  • Identify opportunities to improve project performance and delivery

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, or equivalent industry experience
  • Strong experience across civil, piping and earthworks
  • Experience working with Tier 1 and Tier 2 resource clients
  • Experience delivering projects valued at $50 million+, with a direct workforce
  • Strong commercial and contract management experience
  • Sound knowledge of current Work Health and Safety legislation and regulations
  • Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to lead teams in a fast-paced project environment
  • A strong commitment to safety and quality
  • Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
  • Construction White Card
  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence
  • National Police Clearance (desirable, but not mandatory)
