In this role, you will provide essential outpatient behavioral health care in a rural setting. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by expanding access to behavioral health services in an underserved area.

Key Responsibilities

Conducting psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments for patients of all ages.
Developing and managing individualized treatment plans, to include medication management and brief therapy interventions.
Providing culturally sensitive care that addresses social determinants of health common in rural populations.
Coordinating care with other local primary care and specialist providers, telehealth specialists, and community organizations.
Utilization of telepsychiatry and mobile health technologies to reach patients with transportation or accessibility challenges.
Participating in community outreach and education to promote a healthy population.

Qualifications

ARNP with an unrestricted Washington State License
Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Minimum of one year of independent psychiatric clinical practice
Current BLS certification
Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles, substance use disorders and crisis stabilization
