We are looking for an AP Psychology Teacher for the international division of a public high school located in Beijing. This position is available for an immediate start in the 2026/27 academic year. About the school This is the international division of one of Beijing's most respected public high schools, with around 300 students and a team of 53 Chinese and international teachers. It offers students aged 15 to 18 an AP-based pathway to leading universities in the US and beyond, with most teaching delivered in English and classes of 16 to 25 students. Job details Teach AP Psychology to students aged 15 to 18 and prepare them for the AP exam Plan and deliver engaging lessons for classes of 16 to 25 students Monitor student progress and give clear, constructive feedback to students and parents Contribute 4 hours per week to extra-curricular activities Work with fellow teachers to develop and enhance the curriculum Create a supportive, safe and engaging learning environment Teaching load of under 20 class hours per week, plus 16 preparation hours Excellent spoken and written English Bachelor's degree or above with a major or minor in Psychology; master's degree in Education or the subject preferred Teaching licence required At least 3 years of teaching experience, including AP Psychology Teaching experience in American high schools preferred Enthusiastic, responsible, and a strong team player in a multicultural setting Monthly salary of 26,000 to 36,000 RMB commensurate with experience and background Salary paid over 12 months, including social insurance Flight allowance Annual salary increase based on individual and school performance Annual performance bonus Work permit and visa costs covered by the school Medical insurance fully covered through social insurance plus supplementary commercial cover Summer and winter holidays (winter holiday around 30 days) Public holidays One- or two-year contract, renewable with a longer term
