What You Will Do
This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected hospital system, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.
- Join an established team
- Call structure: 15 days of call coverage per month
- Practice setting: Inpatient
- Access to Support staff
- Employed position within a nonprofit health system
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary
- Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
- Provide pulmonary & Critical care consultation services in the inpatient setting
- Manage critically ill patients in the ICU, including ventilator management and multidisciplinary care coordination
- Perform pulmonary procedures as clinically indicated, including bronchoscopy and related diagnostic/therapeutic procedures
- Develop and build an outpatient pulmonary clinic practice from the ground up
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of pulmonary conditions, including COPD, asthma, lung nodules, interstitial lung disease, sleep-related breathing disorders, and pulmonary infections
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation within electronic medical record

What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
