Your Role: Quality Control Chemist
As a QC Chemist, you will provide critical technical support for the Clinton Quality Control laboratory to ensure compliance with cGMP, safety, and company requirements. In this role, you will collaborate across Quality Assurance and Manufacturing to solve technical problems, improve laboratory methods, and manage analytical investigations to ensure the highest product quality.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead laboratory investigations and deviations, performing root cause analysis to minimize recurrence and ensuring timely closure within regulatory guidelines.
- Act as a technical owner for laboratory methodology, maintaining analytical methods in a state of validation and ensuring all data execution remains in a state of control.
- Drive continuous improvement in laboratory operations and business processes through lean initiatives and inspection readiness activities.
- Review and approve analytical data while providing technical coaching and training to laboratory technicians to safeguard product quality.
- Serve as a safety role model, identifying and eliminating laboratory hazards to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Analytical Chemistry or a related scientific field, or equivalent level of experience.
- Experience: Demonstrated experience in cGMP laboratory operations and analytical methodology.
- Proficiency in laboratory computer systems (SAP, Empower, OneLab, Veeva) and strong technical leadership skills.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
- Advanced degree in Analytical Chemistry.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies in a laboratory setting.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive change management.
- High level of proficiency in complex Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and protocol writing.
