Quality Engineer Key Account (Relocation to the Netherlands)

We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer Key Account to join a leading high-tech electronics company in Eindhoven. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring quality performance for a strategic customer, working across multiple product lines and coordinating quality activities between different teams.

Your role

As a Quality Engineer Key Account, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving quality performance for a key customer across multiple products and projects.

You will act as a central quality contact for the customer and work closely with Quality Engineers, engineering, production, and other internal stakeholders to identify risks, manage escalations, and drive structural improvements.

Key responsibilities include

• Acting as the central Quality contact for a strategic customer across multiple product lines
• Monitoring and improving customer-wide quality performance, KPIs and quality trends
• Managing customer quality issues, escalations, audits and performance reviews
• Coordinating and guiding Quality Engineers responsible for individual products or product lines
• Identifying quality risks and improvement opportunities and translating these into structured improvement programs
• Driving root cause analysis and structural solutions for complex quality issues
• Developing and maintaining customer-specific quality improvement plans and roadmaps
• Ensuring alignment between customer requirements, quality agreements and internal processes
• Preparing clear quality performance reports and management-level summaries for internal and external stakeholders
• Building and maintaining a strong relationship with the customer on quality-related topics
• Collaborating closely with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and other cross-functional teams

Your profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial or similar)
• Around 7 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Management or a similar role
• Strong experience working with large or strategic customers, preferably within a high-tech manufacturing environment
• Experience with customer quality, quality performance management and escalations
• Experience coordinating or guiding Quality Engineers and cross-functional teams
• Experience with quality tools such as 8D, FMEA, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, CAPA and root cause analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and translate them into improvement actions
• Strong communication skills and confidence in dealing with customers and senior stakeholders
• Able to work on a strategic level while maintaining sufficient technical understanding to discuss complex quality issues

• 1 year Xelvin contract including competitive salary, holiday allowance, paid holidays and pension
• A competitive gross salary in the range of €5,000 - €7,500 / month (full-time), depending on experience and results
• Relocation package from Xelvin: Finding the right new challenge, a relocation budget, arrangement of documentation that is needed to work in the Netherlands and full guidance from our housing consultant to find accommodation
• Holiday allowances of 8% of yearly salary
