Job Description: As a key member of our team based full time on site in Middlesborough, you will play a pivotal role in managing , developing, and optimising our supplier base to ensure the effective delivery of strategic manufacturing components and Jigs products that directly support programme objectives . In addition to your technical and commercial responsibilities, you will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, offering guidance, coaching, and support to colleagues across the wider team. Core duties: Leading a small onsite team and scopes of work – fabrication/welding and machining activities from a Quality perspective Managing the supplier on Quality deliverables Reporting into the Senior Quality Manager Managing non-conformances and Quality reports Visiting and managing the supplier on the Submarine tier work activities Essential Skills: CSWIP 3:1 qualified Internal Audit qualification Experience of Quality documentation (e.g. ITPs & MRBs) Quality project experience Proven experience in line management , mentoring, and developing team members The Strategic Manufacturing and Jigs Quality team: This is an excellent opportunity to join BAE Systems Submarines at a pivotal time in the programme and take the next step in your career.
