Job Description: The role sits within the Quality Engineering and Programme Integration team, where you will be working across the Astute and Dreadnought Boat programmes. You will be joining a relatively new team of about 5, with 2 direct reports and interacting across all disciplines and stakeholders within the business. This role will give you the opportunity to influence the strategy and forward looking approach to quality within the business. Core duties: Leading programme performance and compliance for Quality with in multiple Programmes Support the performance narrative and improvement agenda and oversee the governance and assurance of Quality performance Ensuring that the Quality requirements for relevant products and programmes are addressed and are being met effectively Ensuring compliance of internal and customer Quality requirements Supporting the of Quality Strategic objectives within the programmes to ensure consistent alignment and credibility Leading and supporting the development of your team Essential Skills: Experience leading , influencing and motivating the Quality agenda at business level Extensive knowledge of quality engineering practices Ability to interpret and challenge specifications, procedures and contracts requirements Experience leading complex Quality investigations The Quality Engineering and Programme Integration team: You’ll be joining a multi-programme team focused on a data-driven approach to improving business performance by preventing defects, accelerating schedule adherence and reducing Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ). This is a diverse role where you’ll make a real impact working across all the programmes to ensure quality performance improvement is driven and product compliance is achieved.
