An established trading firm is seeking an experienced Quantitative Researcher to join its high-frequency trading (HFT) team in Zurich.

They are looking for a skilled Quantitative Researcher with experience developing systematic trading strategies, particularly across Asian financial markets.

About the Role

As a Quantitative Researcher, you will research, develop, and optimise systematic high-frequency trading strategies across international financial markets, with a particular focus on Asia.

The Quantitative Researcher will collaborate with trading and engineering teams to research, develop and optimise high-performance algorithmic trading strategies.

Key responsibilities:

Developing predictive trading signals using tick-level and order-book market data.
Applying machine learning and statistical techniques to identify profitable trading opportunities.
Researching Asian market microstructure, liquidity, order-book dynamics.
Collaborating with traders and engineers to deploy high-performance algorithmic trading strategies.

➕ Nice to Have

2+ years of quantitative research or algorithmic trading experience.
Strong programming skills.
Experience researching Asian financial markets.
Practical experience applying ML to high-frequency financial data.
