Develop, calibrate and operate quantum hardware, integrate new capabilities, and solve the problems limiting performance and reliability.
International onboarding and collaboration are part of the opportunity, with colleagues in Japan and overseas working across science, engineering and software.
Three essentials:
- PhD in experimental AMO physics or a closely related discipline.
- Experience building or operating atomic-physics, ion-trap or other experimental quantum systems.
- Programming skills and confidence working with experimental control or data systems.
