We're working exclusively with a profitable scale-up looking for several RF Integration Engineers to join their team in Munich. They're a vertically integrated un-manned systems manufacturer working across maritime, land and aerial systems.

You'll be owning and developing low-level RF signal processing algorithms that directly feed into production communication and sensing capabilities.

Your role will include:

  • Examine and interpret low-level IQ data streams from software-defined radios (SDRs)
  • Create and implement sophisticated signal quality measures that go beyond conventional KPIs
  • Explore and apply signals of opportunity in drone-based use cases
  • Develop and deploy signal detection and classification algorithms based on correlation and statistical techniques
  • Build and integrate algorithms for detecting and locating emitters
  • Evaluate, select, and integrate SDR platforms for production deployment
  • Verify algorithm performance using both live and recorded RF data
  • Work closely with RF application and hardware teams to deliver system-level performance

We're looking for people who have:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
  • At least five years of experience in signal processing or RF algorithm development
  • Solid foundation in digital signal processing (DSP)
  • Substantial programming experience with C++ and/or Rust
  • Experience developing within embedded Linux environments
  • Hands-on professional experience with SDR hardware
  • Ability to translate theoretical algorithms into production-quality implementations
