Senior Recruiter – Finance & Financial Services
Location: San Francisco, CA (100% Onsite)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Base Salary: $150,000 – $200,000 annually

We are seeking a highly motivated, strategic, and entrepreneurial Senior Recruiter to join a rapidly growing AI research company focused on advancing artificial intelligence within financial services, consulting, and other professional industries.

Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition & Expert Network Development
- Own the full recruiting lifecycle, including sourcing, outreach, candidate engagement, qualification, and activation.
- Identify and recruit exceptional finance professionals across investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, consulting, and related financial disciplines.
- Develop and maintain a high-quality pipeline of specialized finance experts.
- Build relationships with candidates and professional communities to encourage long-term engagement and referrals.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure a seamless onboarding and activation experience.
Strategic Sourcing & Outreach
- Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter, Sales Navigator, professional associations, alumni networks, and referral programs to identify top talent.
- Develop creative sourcing strategies targeting finance professionals from leading financial institutions and consulting firms.
- Establish relationships with MBA programs, CFA societies, universities, boutique firms, and professional networks.
- Experiment with new sourcing channels, outreach campaigns, and partnerships to improve recruiting results.
- Create compelling candidate messaging that communicates the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge AI development.
Recruitment Marketing & Community Engagement
- Develop recruitment marketing materials, outreach campaigns, and employer branding initiatives.
- Organize and support networking events, professional community activities, and targeted recruiting campaigns.
- Build referral and incentive programs that attract and retain highly qualified professionals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen candidate engagement and grow the expert community.
Recruiting Operations & Analytics
- Track and analyze recruiting metrics, including sourcing effectiveness, candidate conversion rates, acquisition costs, and retention.
- Use data to optimize sourcing strategies, improve candidate engagement, and increase recruiting efficiency.
- Partner with project leaders to anticipate future hiring demands and develop proactive recruiting plans.
- Identify opportunities to automate sourcing processes and build scalable recruiting systems.
- Contribute to the development of tools, workflows, and processes that support continued organizational growth.
Qualifications
- Experience in recruiting, talent sourcing, business development, outbound sales, lead generation, or marketplace growth.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, engage, and attract highly specialized professionals.
- Strong experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, Sales Navigator, and other sourcing platforms.
- Creative and resourceful approach to identifying candidates through traditional and unconventional channels.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to track recruiting metrics and optimize performance.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, recruiting analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience developing outreach campaigns, recruiting content, or employer branding initiatives.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in building processes, experimenting with new approaches, and driving measurable results.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting finance professionals within investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, asset management, or management consulting.
- Background in financial services recruiting, executive search, staffing, RPO, or in-house talent acquisition.
- Familiarity with campus recruiting, MBA programs, CFA networks, and financial services alumni communities.
- Experience building talent communities, referral networks, or specialized candidate pipelines.
- Exposure to SQL, recruiting automation tools, AI-enabled sourcing platforms, or other analytics technologies.
- Experience working in an early-stage startup or high-growth technology environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Base Salary: $150,000 – $200,000 annually
- Equity Ownership: 0.15% – 0.30%
