We're looking for a high-energy, commercially minded Search Consultant / Recruiter to join our team in downtown Vancouver.

This is not corporate Talent Acquisition.

This is not a role where you're handed 10 requisitions and wait for applicants.

This is search.

You'll hunt for exceptional people, build relationships with senior candidates, advise clients, run searches from start to finish, negotiate offers and help companies make some of their most important hires.

You'll work directly alongside Magna's leadership and an experienced recruitment team while gaining exposure to companies across Canada and the United States.

We move quickly. We use technology aggressively. We expect people to take ownership.

And we have a lot of fun doing it.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll own recruitment searches from kickoff through placement.

That means:

• Running searches across multiple industries, functions and seniority levels.
• Sourcing and headhunting passive candidates who aren't applying to job postings.
• Using LinkedIn Recruiter, AI sourcing tools, data platforms and modern recruitment technology to identify exceptional talent.
• Speaking with candidates every day — lots of them.
• Screening, interviewing and qualifying candidates beyond what's written on their résumé.
• Understanding what actually motivates someone to make a career move.
• Presenting opportunities and generating candidate interest.
• Building and managing strong candidate pipelines.
• Writing compelling candidate profiles and presenting shortlisted talent to clients.
• Managing interview processes and keeping momentum high.
• Preparing candidates for interviews and gathering detailed feedback.
• Managing references, compensation discussions, counteroffers and negotiations.
• Developing long-term relationships with candidates, hiring managers and executives.
• Conducting talent mapping and market research.
• Working directly with leadership on difficult and high-priority searches.
• Using AI and automation to recruit faster and smarter than traditional agencies.
• Ultimately: finding great people and getting hires made.

Who We're Looking For

We're much more interested in who you are and how you operate than the logo on your résumé.

You may currently be a:

Recruitment Consultant | Search Consultant | Executive Recruiter | Agency Recruiter | Talent Acquisition Consultant | Senior Recruiter | Recruitment Associate

You don't necessarily need 10+ years of experience.

We would rather hire someone with 2-7 exceptional years who is hungry, competitive and progressing quickly than someone with 15 years who has lost their edge.

You'll probably thrive here if:
