Knauf Northern and Eastern Europe, operates at 27 plants across 24 countries, including Scandinavia, Baltics, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Moldova, Adriatic countries, Greece and Cyprus.
Who are we looking for?
A passionate and experienced Plasterboard Plant Engineer, who will work as a Regional Production Support Engineer for EMEA region, and focus on technology, having direct impact on the performance now and in the future!
What should you do?
• Travel and support our production plants to achieve targets, such as scrap reduction, utilization and energy consumption
• Support the start-up of new installations
• Perform process measurements, including airflow, moisture, temperature, laboratory measurements and product quality checks
• Carry out equipment “health checks” (like dryers and mixers)
• Share best practices, manuals, investment recommendations and other information required by the plants
• Provide training for production, laboratory and maintenance teams
• Support on-site quality and/or equipment troubleshooting at a short notice
• Document plant visits through reports, measurement data and next steps actions
• Act as a role model for health and safety behavior
What skills and capabilities are needed?
• Willingness to travel for approx. 50% of working time, legally in countries within Northern- and Eastern Europe Region
• Safety-oriented mindset
• Engineering background, with the ability to measure processes and make adjustments based on data
• Experience with trials, commissioning and change management
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams
