Role Overview: The registered nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care in a cardiovascular telemetry monitored unit, specializing in patients with circulatory failure, valvular and structural heart diseases, pulmonary hypertension, arrhythmias, and post-procedural care. The RN collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver physical assessments, care planning, patient education, and discharge planning, ensuring continuity of care within a team-based model.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate nursing care, support professional practice, delegate tasks based on skill and patient acuity, and participate in quality improvement activities. The RN may assume leadership roles, mentor colleagues, and contribute to committee or project work. The role involves supporting patients undergoing various cardiac procedures and managing their short stays.

Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum of one year RN experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team, adapt to unpredictable situations, and demonstrate leadership and critical thinking.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records; prior experience preferred.
- Current RN license and BLS certification (or equivalent).
