Registered Nurse (RN) - Hematology/Oncology Infusion

Overview Hematology/Oncology Infusion Clinic 36 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 4 x 9 hr shifts per week) We are seeking a compassionate and experienced nurse to join the ambulatory oncology infusion team at Dartmouth Cancer Center. The Oncology RN will provide specialized nursing care to Hematology/Oncology patients undergoing treatment. Duties include administration of chemotherapy, biotherapy and supportive care medications and procedures (ex: transfusions) and patient education. The ideal candidate would have oncology experience with a Chemotherapy/Biotherapy provider card from ONS but we will train the right candidate. As our Hematology/Oncology Infusion department continues to grow and expand, we are looking for nurses with an unwavering commitment to professionalism, nursing excellence and teamwork. Our clinic treats patients Monday-Friday, excluding holidays, from 730am to 6pm. Opportunity to cross train to pediatrics is available. Precepts the student nurse, nurse extern, nurse resident, experienced clinical nurse and other members of the healthcare team. Performs other duties as required or assigned. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program required. Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Required Licensure/Certifications Licensed Registered Nurse with New Hampshire eligibility. Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate (CHIC) within 30 days of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate required upon hire.
