Registered Nurse (RN) Renal Vascular Unit | Gainesville, FL Full-Time | 12-Hour Shifts (Days or Nights) | Pay: $30.69 to $43.20/hr + Shift Differentials Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 (Days) / $25,000 (Nights) | Relocation Assistance: $2,500$5,000 (for 100+ miles) Overview Join a collaborative, patient-focused team in the Renal Vascular Unit in Gainesville, Florida. Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to renal and vascular patients using evidence-based practices. Perform comprehensive patient assessments and create individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal outcomes. Educate patients and families about disease management, treatment plans, and discharge instructions. Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring safety, dignity, and quality care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing activities. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the unit. Qualifications Required: Current Florida RN license or approved multistate compact license (must obtain Florida license within 60 days of relocation). Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred). Current BLS certification (American Heart Association). Minimum 1 year of RN experience (ACUTE CARE not required LTAC, skilled nursing, outpatient rehab, or corrections experience accepted). Must reside within a commutable distance (within 60 minutes of the facility). Comfortable managing a 7:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. Must be able to complete an in-person interview, facility tour, and shadowing prior to offer. Preferred: NIH Stroke Scale certification (required within 30 days of hire). Experience in renal, vascular, or medical-surgical settings. Strong assessment, critical thinking, and time management skills. Compensation & Benefits Pay range: $30.69 to $43.20/hr (based on experience). 2 years: $30.69/hr 5 years: $33.71/hr 17+ years: $43.20/hr Shift differentials: $4.25/hr (Nights) | $3/hr (Weekends). Sign-on bonus: $15,000 (Days) / $25,000 (Nights). Relocation assistance: $2,500$5,000 (for candidates relocating 100+ miles).
