Job Description REGISTERED NURSES WANTED Forensic Psychiatry — Campbellton, New Brunswick $25,000 recruitment incentive and relocation assistance available* Number of positions: 4 Employment type: Permanent, full-time Facility: Restigouche Hospital Centre Unit: Forensic Psychiatry — Community Reintegration Schedule: Rotating 8- or 12-hour shifts Salary: $45.49 to $55.32 per hour Language requirement: Essential bilingualism — French and English A modern, specialized clinical environment You will work at the Restigouche Hospital Centre in modern facilities designed for the delivery of specialized psychiatric care. This spacious and secure environment supports an approach focused on recovery, rehabilitation and community reintegration. You will practise in a structured and compassionate clinical setting that encourages interdisciplinary collaboration and supports patients with complex forensic mental-health needs. Your role You will provide comprehensive nursing care tailored to the individual needs of patients in a forensic psychiatry unit. You will participate actively in initiatives that improve quality of care and patient safety while working with an interdisciplinary team committed to rehabilitation, community reintegration and patient well-being. Requirements Qualifications Candidates must: • Hold a recognized nursing degree; • Be a member in good standing of a Canadian professional nursing association; • Be registered, or eligible for registration, with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick; • Hold a valid Basic Life Support certification — BLS; • Be bilingual in French and English; • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills; • Demonstrate leadership, sound professional judgment and adaptability; • Be able to work both independently and as part of a team; • Be legally authorized to work in Canada and New Brunswick. Relevant training • Suicide prevention and intervention training in a psychiatric setting, or a commitment to complete it within the prescribed timeframe; • Advanced CPI non-violent crisis-intervention training, or a commitment to complete it.
