Registered Nurses - Haematology/Oncology

The Opportunities

Epworth Freemasons is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our Haematology & Oncology team in East Melbourne. Available on a permanent full-time or part-time basis, this opportunity will see you working within our recently renovated 40-bed inpatient unit, caring for patients throughout their cancer treatment journey.

As part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, you'll provide specialised care to patients with a broad range of haematological and oncological conditions (such as breast, renal, pancreatic, colorectal, gastric, lung leukaemia, multiple myeloma, lymphoma Stem cell transplant and CAR T ), and palliative care, while contributing to outstanding clinical outcomes and patient experiences. You'll have access to advanced therapies and treatments, including stem cell transplantation, BiTE therapies, CAR T programs and clinical trials, making this an exciting opportunity to further develop your specialist nursing career.

As part of the Haematology and Oncology team you will make an impact by:

  • Delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to haematology and oncology patients
  • Supporting patients and families through treatment and complex care journeys
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes
  • Contributing to a culture of compassion, professionalism and continuous improvement
  • Participating in specialist education and service development initiatives and promote lifelong learning

About You

You're a natural communicator, a compassionate leader and someone who thrives in a collaborative environment. You enjoy mentoring others, embracing new challenges and contributing to a positive team culture and are seeking career development pathways.

You will have:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Previous experience in Haematology and/or Oncology nursing
  • Contemporary knowledge of cancer nursing best practice
  • Demonstrated Chemotherapy competency, or willingness to undertake training
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Oncology Nursing (desirable)
  • Stem cell transplant and CAR T experience (highly regarded)

The annual salary for a full time Registered Nurses – AUD $85,732 - $107,669 + super + entitlements depending on registration type, year level and position (prorated for part-time).
