Registered Respiratory Therapist | Miami, FL Full-Time | Mixed Shifts (Rotating Weekends) Pay Range: $30.34 to $41.50/hour (based on experience) Sign-On & Relocation: Case-by-case Overview Join a high-acuity team at a 417-bed acute care facility in Miami, providing comprehensive respiratory care across trauma, burn, surgical, and critical care services. Key Responsibilities Perform and document patient assessments, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressures . Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate respiratory status and therapy effectiveness. Administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy . Assist with placement of artificial airways and manage mechanical ventilation . Monitor patients for therapeutic response and intervene as appropriate. Transport ventilator-dependent patients safely within the facility. Respond to emergent situations to maintain airway integrity and adequate ventilation .
