This is a full-time, exempt position supporting the world class Dierks Lumber Sawmill facility within the Softwood Lumber Business, located in Dierks Arkansas. Key Functions: The Reliability Coordinator key focus areas will be in continues improvement, root cause analyses, downtime analyses, constraint management, predictive maintenance technologies, lubrication technologies and project management. This role will also lead a team of technicians in the areas of Lubrication, PDM, Controls and Reliability Assurance. This position reports to the Maintenance Manager. Key Responsibilities: Role model all safe work practices, standards/processes, and on-the-job behavior by promoting and exhibiting our safety culture and supporting our Company Vision and People Principles Participate in incident investigations and follow-up activities Lead the PDM/Lubrication team by proactively resolving employee issues, building teamwork, and ensuring adherence to all applicable site policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner Provide the day-to-day leadership and direction to support the achievement of department, team, and individual job goals Increase performance by building and maintaining positive relationships through coaching, developing, and instilling a continuous improvement mindset Achieve and sustain business goals in a complex and fast-paced manufacturing environment Develop and lead team meetings and trainings Identify safety, quality, and production issues Manage work schedules, attendance, vacations/leave, job qualifications, and awards Participate in and/or lead department initiatives and other mill functions, such as safety, environmental, innovations, etc. Implement effective use of training resources to build team capacity by enhancing and building the team's technical skills. Use computer-based programs to analyze data, develop corrective actions and drive continuous improvement Champion and/or Participate in the following processes: Standard Maintenance Practices (SMP) Root Cause Analyses (RCA) Predictive Maintenance (PdM) Constraint Management Mill Continuous Improvement Process Lead the Innovations process for the department Qualifications High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Work related experience in leading and ensuring compliance with safety initiatives Knowledgeable in the areas of continuous improvement & constraint management Proven expertise predictive maintenance methods Ability to identify root cause of problems and effectively initiate immediate corrective action to prevent reoccurrence Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and electronic communication skills Demonstrated ability to raise performance by building and maintaining positive relationships with all associates through coaching, development and instilling a continuous improvement mind-set Strong planning and organizational skills Strong work ethic, good judgment and decision-making skills Must have track record of consistently demonstrating leadership skills as well as positive influence and accomplishments in proactively influencing safety, environmental, quality, productivity, and people development Demonstrated basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and other Windows-based programs and internet skills Demonstrated results in achieving and sustaining business goals f Bachelor's degree in a related field Working knowledge of business and financial concepts Minimum 3 years experience in a supervisory role About Wood Products We've been delivering quality building products and solutions to our customers for more than 100 years. What We Offer: Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $69,300-$104,000 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use.
