Job Purpose Leads and manages Honda’s North American Asset End of Life and Parts Harvesting program by ensuring that end of life equipment is managed, evaluated, repurposed, sold, or harvested in a safe, compliant, and cost effective manner. The role works closely with Engineering and Maintenance, MRO, NAIP, NAAP, Accounting, and Site Leadership to drive consistent processes and maximize value recovery across sites. Key Accountabilities Serves as the subject matter expert for end-of-life asset intake procedures and requests, ensuring critical asset information (including asset details, timing, and book value) is accurate and determining whether assets are proprietary. Manages and Evaluates end-of-life asset characteristics and establishes the appropriate disposition strategy, including sale, parts harvesting, or scrapping. Leads cross-functional project teams for high-value assets in partnership with the asset-owning department, Asset Sales, Safety, Environmental, and other stakeholders to establish detailed schedules and roles and responsibilities that maximize value recovery for Honda. Partners with MRO Operations to assess critical parts harvesting needs, minimizing the risk of production downtime associated with obsolete or difficult-to-procure components. Develops and maintains internal, OEM supplier, and external networks to maximize the marketability of current and future end-of-life assets. Develops, updates, and maintains end-of-life asset disposition documentation, procedures, and RASICs to support standardized and compliant processes. Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience 5+ years in asset management, project management, equipment engineering or a related technical field. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with Honda’s NA factories to foster collaboration and transparency. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Focus on continuous improvement and meeting goals/targets. Self-motivated, purpose and results driven. Supports company direction and promotes an environment aimed at Honda’s success. Solid understanding of production equipment. Working Conditions 80% On-site, office position 5 hours overtime per week May require traveling to Honda facilities, suppliers, and/or training locations across North America.
