Responsibilities Administer routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures to patients of all ages. Operate and manage acute-care ventilators for both short- and long-term mechanical ventilation. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in accordance with established clinical protocols. Assess, document, and communicate patient responses and therapy outcomes. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the care team to ensure safe, effective treatment. Maintain accurate department and hospital records within EMR systems. Demonstrate self-direction and critical thinking, functioning independently in the absence of a team lead.
