Respiratory Therapy Supervisor

🌺 Lead a Respiratory Therapy team in beautiful Hilo, Hawaiʻi! 🌊

We're partnering with a leading acute-care hospital on Hawaiʻi's Big Island (a busy trauma center!) that is GROWING, with 55 new beds coming soon, including a brand-new 19-bed ICU. They're looking for a Respiratory Therapy Supervisor to lead the way.

💼 What you'll do

- Lead, hire, train and develop a team of RTs, technicians, aides and support staff

- Own the department's day-to-day: budget, equipment, supplies and staffing

- Drive quality assurance programs, policies and procedures

- Keep the department compliant with State, CMS, Medicare and Joint Commission standards

- Partner with other departments and step in as a backup therapist when needed

✅ What you bring

- Bachelor's in Respiratory Therapy (CoARC/CAAHEP), OR an Associate's plus CRT and/or additional experience

- 3+ years of Respiratory Therapist experience

- CRT or RRT (NBRC)

- Hawaiʻi RT license by time of hire (mainland RTs welcome, since licensure can be obtained!)

- BLS, ACLS and PALS (can be completed within 6 months of hire)
