RMO & Team Co-ordinator

🚨 Now Hiring: RMO & Team Co-ordinator | West of Ireland

An excellent opportunity is available with a private hospital in the west of Ireland for a doctor with strong clinical, administrative and people-management experience.

This is an ideal role for an organised, proactive doctor who enjoys combining clinical responsibility with leadership and team coordination.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing safe, timely clinical care to inpatients

• Responding to clinical deterioration and medical emergencies

• Reviewing investigations, prescribing and clinical documentation

• Coordinating and managing the RMO team

• Leading RMO recruitment, onboarding and training

• Preparing monthly RMO rotas and ensuring continuous cover

• Supporting appraisals, governance, incident management and quality improvement

• Acting as the key link between RMOs, Consultants, Nursing and administrative teams

• Ensuring RMO training and competencies remain compliant with JCI standards

What we're looking for:

✅ Current active Irish Medical Council (IMC) registration

✅ Post-internship hospital experience in General Medicine, General Surgery or a related specialty

✅ Current ACLS & PALS certification, with BLS as required

✅ Proven leadership, people-management and team-building experience

✅ Excellent organisational, communication and coordination skills

✅ Experience in rota management, recruitment, onboarding, appraisal, clinical governance or QI is advantageous

A management qualification or relevant management experience would be desirable, but is not essential.
