Job Details

At Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital for Rehabilitation, nursing is about more than caring for a child during a hospital stay—it’s about helping children and families move forward. You'll have opportunities to grow your skills, build meaningful relationships, and make a lasting difference.

For more than 100 years, our nurses, therapists and physicians have worked together to help children develop the skills, confidence and independence they need to fully participate in the world when they leave. Our 24-hour inpatient hospital cares for infants, children and adolescents with complex medical and rehabilitation needs. Here, you’ll truly get to know your patients and families, celebrate milestones, provide education, and help families confidently transition home.

Our hospital includes three specialized areas, each offering a unique clinical experience:

Rehabilitation Unit: Care for children recovering from traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries, burns, complex surgeries, severe illnesses, wounds and other conditions requiring intensive rehabilitation and therapy.

Pain Program: Provide compassionate, specialized care to children and adolescents living with chronic pain. Partner with an interdisciplinary team to improve function, build coping skills, regain confidence, and achieve personal goals.

Pediatric Medical Unit: Provide specialized care for infants, children and adolescents with complex medical needs, including cardiac and respiratory conditions, tracheostomies, ventilator dependence, neonatal abstinence syndrome, central lines, post-transplant care, long-term antibiotic or TPN therapy, and enteral nutrition through gastrostomy tubes and buttons.

Each nurse is oriented to all three areas, allowing you to broaden your clinical skills and care for a diverse pediatric population based on patient needs and census.

Join a strong, collaborative team where daily interdisciplinary rounds keep everyone focused on shared goals. With physicians and respiratory therapists on site 24/7, you’ll have the support of an experienced multidisciplinary team as you care for children with complex needs.
