Job Summary The Registered Nurse on Unit is a key player in patient care management, following our nursing practice model. They work with other health care staff to deliver patient care effectively. Our Registered Nurses use the nursing process efficiently. They diagnose patient responses to health issues and create care plans accordingly. It includes evaluating healthcare needs and responses. Essential Functions of the Role Prioritize needs. Create, implement, and assess care plan to achieve outcomes. Adapt plan as necessary. Observe indicators closely, support evidence-based changes with research and hands-on learning. Create a caring, safe environment for patients, families, and staff. Build relationships with boundaries in mind. Focus on managing emotional and physical pain to promote healing and reduce suffering. Facilitate learning for all members of the healthcare team, including patients, families, and nursing staff, ensuring everyone is well-informed.
