ROTA Nanny & Family Assistant

A Bay Area Peninsula-based family is seeking an experienced ROTATIONAL NANNY to join an established, fully staffed household team. The family has three elementary-aged children and wants a professional, organized, and engaging candidate who can confidently support both childcare and family assistant responsibilities. The children attend school full-time, so during school hours the nanny will assist with child-related household tasks, errands, organization, scheduling, and general family support. The ideal candidate enjoys school-aged children, creates engaging and educational activities, and knows how to stay proactive while holding professional boundaries in the home. This is a career opportunity for a nanny with fully staffed home experience who is observant, adaptable, and able to manage multiple responsibilities while collaborating with an estate manager, housekeeping staff, chefs, maintenance staff, and additional nanny support. Key Responsibilities

• Support the children's daily routines, development, and before- and after-school routines
• Plan age-appropriate activities and coordinate schedules
• Prepare meals and snacks for the children
• Organize children's spaces and belongings
• Travel with the family and provide occasional overnight care during rotation
• Run errands, grocery shop, and handle light meal planning and prep
• Coordinate vendors and provide calendar and scheduling support
• Assist with household organization and child-related logistics

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of professional childcare experience (ideal candidate brings experience both in a classroom and with a private family)
• Bachelor's degree required
• Willing to relocate within three months if not currently local
• Minimum two-year commitment
• Proficiency with Google Workspace
• Safe and capable driver (vehicle provided during work hours)
• Valid driver's license, valid passport, and up-to-date vaccinations
• Experience caring for multiple school-aged children
• Strong swimmer and comfortable supervising children around water
• Prior travel experience with a family strongly preferred
• Able to prepare simple meals

Location: San Francisco Bay Area Peninsula

Compensation: Hourly plus overtime, equivalent to approximately 150-200K annually DOE plus full package

Schedule: Full-time, Rotational position, 7 on / 7 off coverage typically 7:00am to 8:00pm, with flexibility.
