Who we are:
B Futurist moves beauty products across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas. Around 70 people, 33 nationalities, profitable, and growing fast. We're at the interesting part of the climb: turning quick opportunistic trades into long-term retail relationships.
We are founder-led, direct, and intentionally unbureaucratic. No politics, no unnecessary layers, just ownership and execution.
The role:
Open new retail doors for B Futurist in the US market. You own the full cycle: identify target retailers, find the right buyer, get the meeting, close the account. No warm leads, no existing book of business to inherit. You build it.
US retailers are notoriously hard to reach. The right person for this role treats that as the opportunity, not the obstacle, and gets creative with cold outreach, trade shows, brand storytelling, and whatever else it takes to get in the door.
What you'll actually do:
- Own the full cycle. Find the lead, make first contact, negotiate, close, and keep the relationship alive after.
- Know the floor. Every colleague, what they sell, what they need. Half your edge comes from inside the building. People should start coming to you because they know what you've got.
- Keep planting. Cold outreach means retailers often don't reply. Email, call, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, in person. It's a numbers game. Most seeds don't grow. Some do.
- Push for the real answer, not the polite one. Not "your price is too high" but "what's your target, what volume, why not."
- Move first. The deal goes to whoever moves fastest. While others think it over, you get there and lock the better price.
- Build depth over months and years with the partners who matter. Study them, solve their messy problems, become their first call.
- Take calculated risk and own the outcome, good or bad. When others wait on a reply, you make the call and close it, then work shoulder to shoulder with Logistics and Finance to land the deal.
How you'll grow:
Your first month is intense, on purpose. We have some of the best training in the industry, structured video plus in-person coaching, and you'll work through it hard and fast. But the real teacher is the floor. You sit in the middle of it, close enough to hear live negotiations and deals closing on the spot, and you absorb the job by being inside it. That's why our team sits in the office, not at home: the flow of information on the floor, and the few minutes' edge of being in the room, is too valuable to miss.
The honest version:
No warning here, just the reality, so you can decide if this role is for you.
- No one hands you your next lead. You decide what to chase, and you start without being asked.
- A "no," an objection, or a week of silence is the start of the work, not the end of it.
- You'll try things, make real mistakes, and learn from them fast.
- The job runs on pressure and the next level, not comfort and routine. Our rule of thumb: uncomfortable if too comfortable.
- Sometimes a call or a message after hours is the difference between landing the deal and losing it.
- There's a friendly rivalry over who sells higher, who buys lower, who ranks where. It pushes everyone up.
- Feedback here is blunt and direct. We mean it as fuel, never as an insult.
- The bonus is real, and so is the daily push it takes to earn it.
The whole philosophy in one line: we don't push people. Top performers push themselves. The number is just the result. The effort is the choice.
What you get:
- A salary of EUR 3,150 to 3,500 depending on experience, plus a bonus.
- 25 days off plus your birthday,
- 100% employer-paid pension,
- Friday drinks
- Subsidised warm lunch at the office
- Subsidised Urban Sports Club,
- Travel reimbursement,
- Christmas party worth staying for.
- A first-row seat. You work directly with the founder and across every team. No walls, no politics.
- Kennismigrant visa sponsorship, so the right person can come from anywhere.
- A flat, casual team from 33 nationalities where you can be completely yourself.
- And Punk, our company dog, who is better at being himself than most of us.
