▶︎ Job Details ・Job Title: System Implementation & Operational Support Manager ・Client: Japanese IT Solutions Company ・Working Location: New York, NY ・Working Style: Hybrid (2 days per week in office) ・Employment Type: Full-Time ・Salary: 100-130K/ per year ・Benefit:Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurance, paid time off, 401(k), and other company-sponsored benefits ・Visa Support: Yes ・Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch) ・Language: Business-level English and Japanese (written and verbal) ▶︎ Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage team members throughout SAP ERP implementation and operational support projects • Analyze business requirements and translate them into system solutions • Design, create, modify, maintain, and improve SAP application systems to meet business needs • Manage project schedules, resources, deliverables, and stakeholder communications • Coordinate with internal teams, business users, and external vendors • Provide leadership in troubleshooting, issue resolution, and system enhancements • Oversee system maintenance activities and ensure stable operations • Support software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and best practices • Report project progress, risks, and recommendations to upper management • Mentor and guide team members while fostering collaboration and professional development ▶︎ The Right Candidate Will Possess: • Strong leadership and team management capabilities • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Ability to work effectively in multicultural and cross-functional environments • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Experience managing complex ERP implementation projects • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on operational support ▶︎ Required Qualifications & Skills: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field • Minimum 10 years of SAP ERP system implementation experience • Project management experience in enterprise application environments • Experience managing non-Japanese vendors and global stakeholders • Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) • Experience with requirements gathering, system analysis, maintenance, and troubleshooting • Business-level Japanese and English communication skills • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills • SAP Certified Application Associate (or equivalent ERP certification preferred)
