PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Seamstress will be responsible for creating, altering, and repairing garments and textiles to the highest luxury standards. Working within a private royal household, she will ensure flawless garment construction, precise pattern cutting, and immaculate finishes on a wide range of high-end fabrics and couture pieces.

Qualifications / Licenses / Skills

• 5-7 years of experience as a professional seamstress
• Excellent pattern cutting and garment construction skills
• Exceptional knowledge and standard of stitching and finishing
• Previous experience in a high-end designer atelier or couture environment (highly regarded)
• Skilled in working with a wide range of fabrics from chiffon to leather
• Strong eye for detail, precision, and garment fit
• Ability to perform alterations and repairs on high-value garments
• Fluent in English (spoken and written preferred)
• Discreet, professional, and with an excellent attitude and behaviour
  
  

DUTIES

• Cut, sew, and construct garments according to patterns and specifications
• Perform alterations and repairs to high-end garments and uniforms
• Handle delicate, luxury fabrics with care and precision
• Maintain sewing equipment and work area in excellent condition
• Liaise with household staff to ensure garments are ready as scheduled
• Uphold confidentiality, discretion, and the highest standards of quality
