Position Overview
Seeking a Senior AI Coding Engineer to lead the enterprise deployment, administration, security, and ongoing support of AI-powered coding tools, including GitHub Copilot and OpenAI Codex.
This is a hands-on engineering role requiring demonstrated experience operating coding-agent platforms in production environments. The successful candidate will establish enterprise policies, manage identities and permissions, secure AI agent integrations, and develop automation and testing frameworks to support reliable adoption across engineering teams.
The role will work extensively with AWS services, enterprise identity and access management, Python-based integrations, and AI agent security.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the rollout, configuration, administration, and ongoing support of enterprise AI coding platforms such as GitHub Copilot and OpenAI Codex.
- Configure organization-level policies, repository permissions, user and group access, model settings, tool access, and usage controls.
- Build, secure, and maintain Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and integrations, including authentication, authorization, credential handling, and least-privilege enforcement.
- Develop Python-based REST APIs, automation utilities, integration services, and test frameworks.
- Implement and support AWS-based solutions using services such as Bedrock, Bedrock Agents, IAM, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and Secrets Manager.
- Apply enterprise identity and access management practices, including SSO, SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SCIM, RBAC, and JWT-based authentication.
- Conduct security testing of AI agents and integrations, including unauthorized access, privilege escalation, prompt injection, token misuse, and tool-abuse scenarios.
- Build repeatable validation and evaluation frameworks to assess agent behavior, security, and reliability.
- Configure custom agents, GPTs/assistants, tool integrations, and multi-agent workflows.
- Troubleshoot complex integration and access issues while partnering with engineering and security teams.
- Establish best practices and technical standards for the safe and scalable adoption of AI coding agents.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience administering, configuring, and troubleshooting GitHub Copilot and/or OpenAI Codex in production environments.
- Demonstrated experience with enterprise AI coding tool governance, access controls, repository permissions, model configuration, and usage policies.
- Experience building and securing MCP servers, including scope management, authentication, authorization, identity propagation, and credential security.
- Strong understanding of enterprise IAM concepts, including SSO, SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SCIM, RBAC, and JWT/bearer tokens.
- Strong AWS experience, particularly with IAM, Bedrock/Bedrock Agents, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager, and VPC/networking.
- Strong Python programming skills, including REST API development, automation, integrations, and testing frameworks.
- Experience with AI agent security testing, including prompt injection, unauthorized tool access, privilege escalation, and credential-handling vulnerabilities.
- Experience developing or configuring custom AI agents, assistants, tool integrations, and multi-agent workflows.
- Ability to work independently, resolve complex technical issues, and establish enterprise implementation standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bash and shell scripting experience.
- PowerShell scripting experience.
- Dedicated AI security testing or AI red-teaming experience.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise developer tooling and cloud security initiatives.
