LGG is looking to expand its Digital & AI team with a Senior AI Engineer who will work with clients in the development of complex Agents and LLM based solutions for the financial services industry. This role is designed for an senior professional with 4–6 years of experience who is ready to contribute to production AI initiatives while continuing to grow technical depth and solution ownership. Help leverage large language models (LLMs, MCPs) and state-of-the-art AI frameworks to develop scalable AI applications. Work in complex, fast-paced environments with strong learning, mentoring and development opportunities. Contribute to client-facing AI solutions for the financial services industry, collaborating closely with senior engineers, consultants and multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities Research, evaluate and test new AI technologies, tools and frameworks. Stay up to date with AI advancements and apply novel methods to client and internal projects. Support AI projects including chatbot development and process automation. Design Architecture and Deploy AI solutions. Develop and maintain AI applications in Python utilizing large language models. Debug and enhance AI software components for optimal performance. Craft, test and refine prompts, chains and workflows to improve LLM effectiveness and user experience. Build and maintain REST APIs with integrated AI features. Collaborate in agile environments with engineers, consultants, product owners and client stakeholders. Work independently with strong accountability for deliverables. Communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders, documenting technical work and project decisions. Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. Fluency in English at a proficient level (education or work experience in an English-speaking environment is a plus). Requirements: 3-5 years in ML or Data engineering, with 1+ year building LLM systems in production experience developing and debugging Python applications with at least 3 years. Hands-on experience with AI frameworks - Anthropic Claude Agent SDK, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, LangChain Workflows or similar Strong proficiency in prompt engineering and fine-tuning large language models. Comprehensive understanding of large language model architectures and applications. Skilled in using Pydantic for data validation and configuration management. Familiarity with AI-driven engineering assistants such as Claude, GitHub Copilot or Gemini CLI Familiarity with one or more of the following cloud services and related infrastructure; AWS, Azure, GCP. Experience working in agile, project-oriented environments. Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking and willingness to learn in a fast-moving AI landscape. Differential: Familiarity with workflow automation tools such as n8n, Make, or Zapier. Exposure to financial services, consulting environments or regulated industries. Experience contributing to evaluation, monitoring or testing approaches for LLM-based applications.
