About the Role

Join the applied AI engineering team building the systems layer behind an enterprise process intelligence platform. You will make AI behavior reliable, measurable, and useful in production by turning complex business data into structured insights.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain production AI services and pipelines, including retrieval, context construction, model selection, structured extraction, orchestration, and monitoring.

  • Develop evaluation datasets, benchmarks, regression tests, guardrails, and fallback paths to measure and improve AI quality.

  • Improve system reliability by addressing latency, cost, retries, failures, and production debugging.

  • Work with product and customers to understand needs, test solutions, and iterate based on feedback.

  • Own projects from design through deployment and ongoing monitoring, making pragmatic decisions about architecture and technical debt.

What We're Looking For

  • Four to ten years of full-time experience building production software, applied AI, or ML systems, with meaningful end-to-end ownership.

  • Strong Python skills, including services and asynchronous patterns, plus experience integrating hosted LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or Cohere.

  • Hands-on experience with RAG, retrieval, vector search, agent orchestration, or document understanding.

  • Experience building AI evaluations or benchmarks and shipping customer-facing product improvements based on measured quality and user feedback.

  • Familiarity with tools and technologies such as Go, PostgreSQL, Redis, React, TypeScript, GCP, Terraform, Docker, and Datadog.

  • Strong systems thinking, communication skills, and a product engineering background, ideally including early-stage or 0-to-1 product experience.

  • A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
