Senior AMO Physicist
£60,000–£80,000 base salary + share options + relocation support
Oxfordshire, UK | On-site
Your next experiment could shape a quantum processor.
Put your AMO expertise to work on quantum hardware—and see your experiments influence how the platform performs.
Join a well-backed team developing a next-generation quantum platform. Build and calibrate experimental systems, investigate noise and instability, and turn your findings into practical improvements.
Own technical problems, collaborate across physics and engineering, and help junior colleagues develop.
Three essentials:
- PhD in experimental AMO physics or a related field.
- Hands-on experience building or operating atomic-physics or quantum-hardware experiments.
- Programming skills in Python, C++ or similar for experimental work and data analysis.
