Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with 15+ years of experience in business analysis, requirements management, process improvement, and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with business and technical teams to define requirements, improve business processes, and deliver successful technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, document, and validate complex business and system requirements.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, SMEs, product owners, developers, QA teams, and project managers.
• Conduct requirements elicitation sessions, workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings.
• Create detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirements Documents (FRD), User Stories, and Use Cases.
• Analyze current and future business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop process flows, workflows, data flows, use cases, and functional specifications.
• Translate business requirements into clear technical requirements for development teams.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to define and prioritize the product backlog.
• Create and maintain epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and business rules.
• Perform gap analysis, impact analysis, and root-cause analysis.
• Support UAT planning, test case reviews, defect analysis, and business validation.
• Coordinate with QA teams to ensure requirements are properly covered by test scenarios.
• Track requirements throughout the project lifecycle and maintain requirements traceability.
• Prepare business process documentation and technical presentations.
• Facilitate meetings and communicate project requirements, risks, issues, and dependencies to stakeholders.
• Support project managers with planning, status reporting, risk management, and change management.
• Mentor junior Business Analysts and provide guidance on BA best practices.
• Ensure solutions align with business objectives, organizational standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Senior Business Analyst.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering and requirements management.
• Excellent knowledge of SDLC, Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong experience creating BRD, FRD, User Stories, Use Cases, and Process Flows.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of UML and business process modeling.
• Experience with gap analysis and impact analysis.
• Strong stakeholder and client management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams.

• Industry experience in Banking, Finance, Healthcare, Insurance, Retail, or Government is a plus.
• CBAP, PMI-PBA, or similar certification is preferred.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

The ideal candidate will be a senior-level Business Analyst with strong business and technical expertise, capable of independently managing complex requirements, communicating with executive-level stakeholders, leading analysis activities, and bridging the gap between business teams and technical development teams.
