Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Engineering, Product, Operations, and Technology to understand complex business challenges and translate them into analytical solutions. Develop proof-of-concept and production-ready models using Python, R, or other relevant technologies, ensuring scalability, reliability, and business impact. Communicate analytical findings and recommendations clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the business. Promote a culture of innovation by evaluating and implementing emerging methodologies, tools, and industry best practice within the data science community. Mentor and support junior data scientists Track record of delivering end-to-end Operations Research projects that demonstrate clear business value. Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking skills, comfortable handling ambiguous and evolving requirements. Excellent communication skills in English; German language skills are advantageous but not mandatory. Degree (Master’s or PhD) in Operations Research, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related quantitative field. Eligible to work in Germany or prepared to relocate to Munich with company support.
