Senior DevOps - Alibaba Cloud

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the DevOps team supporting the project, working within an Alibaba Cloud environment. The role focuses on enabling secure, scalable, and reliable platform operations through infrastructure automation, CI/CD, environment management, and operational support. Working closely with engineering, architecture, and project stakeholders, the DevOps Engineer will contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of DevOps practices, helping ensure platform stability, deployment efficiency, and operational resilience across the project.

Responsibilities

• Write and update reusable IaC in Terraform
• Administer and optimize Alibaba Cloud services such as Alibaba Cloud Web Apps, Function Compute, Key Management Service (KMS), Message Queue, and Alibaba Cloud Logic Apps
• Build and update Alibaba Cloud DevOps pipelines, mostly Yaml pipelines
• Monitor running environments in Alibaba Cloud and make adjustments when needed
• Take care of the releases (STG, PRD) and improve the deployment process
• Act as a key contributor in the DevOps Chapter, taking part in various initiatives, presenting ideas, and democratically voting on the implementation of new changes
• Troubleshoot issues and assist development teams

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
• Experience working with Alibaba Cloud, Azure DevOps, and GitHub
• Experience with CI/CD using Alibaba Cloud DevOps
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code development and maintenance
• Familiarity with Terraform and scripting languages
• Proficiency in English at a B2+ level
