Senior Dotnet Developer

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Your Profile & DNA:

We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer passionate about building scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. We are looking for a talented Senior .NET Developer to join our team and contribute to modern cloud-based solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions
• Build cloud-native and distributed applications
• Implement modern architecture patterns and integration solutions
• Optimise application performance and database efficiency
• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders
• Contribute to engineering best practices and continuous improvement

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of software development experience
• Strong expertise in C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core
• Experience designing and developing enterprise-level applications

Technical Skills Required

Backend Development

• C# and .NET technologies
• Microservices architecture
• Containerisation concepts
• Event-Driven Architecture
• Event Sourcing and CQRS patterns

Cloud & Integration

• Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform
• Azure Event Hub / Kafka experience
• Enterprise application integrations

Database & Performance

• Advanced SQL Server skills
• Query optimisation and performance tuning
• Stored procedures
• NoSQL databases (Azure Cosmos DB or similar)

Engineering Practices

• Unit testing and code quality practices
• Git version control
• CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps

Nice to Have

Experience with Elastic Stack:

• Elasticsearch
• Kibana
• Logstash

Experience with:

• IBM Integration Bus (IIB) / Enterprise Service Bus solutions
• Enterprise Scheduler tools such as Automic or similar
