Our client is seeking an EHS Manager to lead the organization's environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance, reduce operational risk, and strengthen a culture of safety and sustainability. This role is responsible for developing strategy, driving continuous improvement, and supporting safe, compliant manufacturing operations across the facility.

Responsibilities:

Deliver EHS training programs for employees and leadership.
Maintain and test emergency preparedness and response plans.
Supervise and mentor EHS staff or site‑level coordinators (if applicable)
Manage incident investigations, root cause analysis, reporting, and follow‑up actions.
Support sustainability initiatives, environmental reporting, and climate‑related disclosures.
Lead facility audits, inspections, and assessments; identify gaps and drive corrective and preventive actions.
Monitor and analyze EHS metrics and KPIs to evaluate program effectiveness and inform strategic decisions.
Partner with operations, HR, legal, and engineering to embed EHS into daily processes and organizational culture.
Serve as subject matter expert in environmental compliance, hazardous waste management, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, and workplace safety.
Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs, policies, and procedures aligned with OSHA, EPA, DOT, NFPA, ISO 14001/45001, and applicable state/local regulations.

Qualifications (Must-Haves)

Experience in food & beverage manufacturing.
Professional EHS certifications (CSP, CIH, CHMM, or equivalent)
Proven leadership, communication, and change‑management skills.
8+ years of progressive EHS experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, ISO 14001/45001, and other relevant regulations.
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
