Senior Engineering Lead

About the Role

Lead a hands-on engineering team building a context platform for an AI-powered data analytics product. The platform helps users understand and improve how AI agents work with business data, making it central to the quality and usefulness of the product.

What You'll Do

• Lead the team responsible for developing and improving the context platform.

• Set technical direction, review designs, and contribute directly to implementation.

• Manage and support engineers, setting a high bar while enabling them to do their best work.

• Recruit and help grow a strong engineering team.

What We're Looking For

• At least 6 years of full-stack software engineering experience and 2 or more years managing engineering teams.

• Experience managing teams of 3 to 15 individual contributor engineers in a high-growth startup environment.

• Recent hands-on experience building an agentic or AI-native product, ideally within the past 2 to 3 years.

• Proficiency in TypeScript; experience with React, Postgres, and Python is valuable.

• Background building block-style products for technical users, such as data products or developer tools.

• A computer science degree or equivalent technical education, with strong software engineering fundamentals.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary range: $221,000 to $295,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is available.

Location

Hybrid in San Francisco, California, with in-office work two days per week.
